Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Staff.Ed, operated by MatchLogic Recruitment Services (Pty) Ltd. By creating an account you accept them.

1. The service

Staff.Ed connects South African educators (ECD to Grade 12, including LSEN) with schools through an automated matching system. We are a recruitment platform, not the employer.

2. Educator accounts

  • Registration is free. You must provide accurate information, including truthful SACE, police clearance and NRSO declarations.
  • False declarations lead to immediate removal and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
  • Optional paid tools (e.g. CV generator) are once-off and non-refundable once access is granted.

3. School pricing (VAT inclusive where applicable)

Payments are processed by PayFast. Access is released after our team confirms the payment. If we cannot deliver, we refund in full.

4. School obligations

  • Use educator information only to fill the stated vacancy, in line with POPIA, and delete it when no longer needed.
  • Independently verify SACE registration, PCC and NRSO status before appointment, as required by law.
  • No direct poaching of candidates outside the platform to avoid fees.

5. Liability

We take reasonable care with matching and screening but do not guarantee any candidate's suitability. To the extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant vacancy.

6. Termination

You may delete your account any time from your profile. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
